Edge Youth at LCBC exists to transform 7th - through 12th-grade students into fully committed followers of Jesus Christ by helping them find identity, find belonging, and find purpose.
We create a safe place where middle and high school students can build authentic relationships with each other and adults that will encourage them to connect with Jesus so that they are equipped to go out and be a light in their world.

At LCBC we don't believe that the youth are merely the future of the church, but active, vital parts of the body of the church right now!
EdgeYouth focuses on helping a new generation grow into their role as the future of the church. We offer a welcoming place for students to be nurtured in their relationship with God and each other.
Students who show up to youth will be in a small group setting. We play games, provide snacks and have an interactive message dealing with some of today's challenging issues.
We plan fun events to get students together often. At LCBC students are encouraged to participate in all church events. We are excited for you to join us!
We meet Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm in The Hut on the LCBC campus

Meet Kristian and Luke Shoffner, Youth Director
I was born and raised in Odessa, TX, and I hold an MA in Educational Leadership and a teaching degree from the University of Texas Permian Basin. I met my husband, Luke during a Youth Leadership Conference. Luke was born and raised in Maiden, NC and we have been married since 2004. We are blessed with three wonderful children: Landon, London, and Logan. We also look forward to meeting Kyndon in Heaven one day. Our family is passionate about helping students deepen their faith, learn about God's Word, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus. My favorite verse is Psalm 109:103
